ஒன்பது கம்பளம்

ராஜகம்பளத்தில் இருக்கும் ஒன்பது கம்பள மக்கள் ஒரே இனமாக , பழக்க வழக்கங்களை கொண்ட ஒரு குடும்பத்தை சேர்ந்தவர்கள் என்றாலும் அரசும், நம்மில் சிலரும் பிரிவு பேசி முன்னேற்றம் காணாமல் இருப்பதை பற்றிய பதிவு.வரலாறு ரீதியில் இது முக்குலம், விஸ்வ கர்மா, 5 சாதிகள் கூட்டு என்று எல்லாம் கூட்டம் சேர்த்துவரலாறுகளில் சமந்தம் இல்லாத சாதிகளை கூட்டு சேர்க்கும் விதம் அல்ல 9 கம்பளம் என்பது.. நாடார் பிரிவில் 7 பிரிவினர் உள்ளனர், மறவர் பிரிவில் 17 பிரிவினர் உள்ளனர், அகமுடியார் பிரிவில் 20 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பெரும் பிரிவுகள் உள்ளன, இதை போல வெள்ளாளர் போன்ற பல சாதிகளுக்கு உண்டு ஆனால் எந்த சாதிக்கும் இல்லாத ஒரு சாதி ராஜகம்பள இனத்துக்கு உண்டு. இது கம்பளத்து இனத்திலேயே பிரிவினை சொல்லி அரசு பதிவு செய்துள்ள சாதிகள் பட்டியலில் தவராக உள்ள ஒரே இனம் ராஜகம்பள இனம்.புளுக்கை சாணாஞ், பனையேறி சானான் என்று எல்லாம் எங்குமே சாதிகள் பட்டியலில் இல்லை.. சானான் , நாடார் என்றே வாங்குகின்றனர் . கொண்டியம் கட்டி மறவர், ஆப்பாநாடு மறவர் என்று எங்குமே அவர்களின்குல பெயரில் சாதி சான்றிதல் இல்லை பொதுவாக மறவர் என்றே வாங்குவார்கள் ஆனால் நாம் மட்டும...

Stuart writes, “are the great pastoral caste of the Telugu people. The traditions of the caste give a descent from the god Krishna, whose sportings with the milk maids play a prominent part in Hindu mythology. The hereditary occupation of the Gollas is tending sheep and cattle, and selling milk, but many of them have now acquired lands and are engaged in farming, and some are in Government service.
